Jamie is one of the rare Los Angeles natives. For college, she ventured south to University of California, San Diego, but upon graduation moved back to pursue a career in TV and Film. Since 2005, Jamie has worked in production for television on series such as - LOST, ENLIGHTENED, BATES MOTEL and JESSICA JONES. She is currently overseeing post production as a Producer on the Apple/Media Res series THE MORNING SHOW, working alongside Kerry Ehrin and Mimi Leder.
Jamie has produced and directed several short films and made her feature directorial debut in 2018 with the music documentary, USE YOUR DELUSION (co-directed with her husband, Justin Carlton) that follows the frontman of indie cult band, Man Man. The film played several festivals and took the award for Best Documentary at the 2018 Oaxaca Film Festival.
She also has a love for writing and over the years has written scripts for both TV and film with her writing partner, Theresa Bral. Their screenplay CHAVEZ RAVINE made the 2017 Hit List for Best Feature Spec Script. She most recently finished a screenplay with husband and collaborator, Justin Carlton.

Justin is from Portland, Oregon. He has spent the last 17 years living and working in Los Angeles. Writing, making short films, music videos and a couple of non-fiction projects. He has most recently worked as a writer’s assistant on the Plan B/Netflix series The OA.
In 2016, Justin wrote and directed the short film SO IT GOES, which played the Independent Boston, Napa Valley and Seattle Shorts Film Festival. The musical starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Fargo S3, 10 Cloverfield Lane) was also featured on Short of the Week.
This year he and his wife, Jamie Vega Wheeler, finished a feature documentary called USE YOUR DELUSION, which tells the story of a struggling musician on tour.
